DVD rant #83
went to church this morning. it was alright. went to Whitcoulls afterwards armed with my bonus card, my $5 voucher and my discount coupons. bought Raymond Feist's 'Flight of the Nighthawks' and Jumanji on DVD. here's where i break off into another rant...
i bought the Deluxe Edition of Jumanji as opposed to the Collector's Edition, but when i got home, i found that none of the 13 featurettes on the Deluxe Edition have anything to do with the featurettes on the Collector's Edition. it's a whole different bunch of special features! so there's not more stuff on the Deluxe Edition, there's just other stuff. i might just go and buy the other version as well so i can have all the special features, then go and buy a dual DVD case and put both DVDs together. man, i should own the DVD distribution company, 'cos then there wouldn't be any of these problems...everyone would get all the special features with one purchase at the time the DVD was first released!
watched some of the Jumanji special features when i got home. i would've liked to see a couple of making of's, but they're all on the Collector's Edition. dumb!
went into Wgtn tonight and watched The Battle of Young Wits show performed by Joe Improv. it was cool. talked with Jen, Steve and Ryan and i might be helping to run Joe Improv next year. that'd be cool :o)
went out for dinner with Steve and the Joe Improv crew. it was cool.
this 'meh...' is for the whole DVD thing...not the Joe Improv thing:
