promo’s
…never mind. there are two videos to come when i get copies of them, i’ll upload them to YouTube so everyone can have a look!
did a pamphlet drop around the Linden area for WIT’s fringe show, one night of which is happening in Linden. if you’re interested in coming to one of our shows, here’s info:

and you can visit http://www.wit.org.nz/ for more info about other shows, or about WIT in general. you should come to my shows!!!
for the rest of the afternoon, i continued to read Irrational Webcomics!
i have nothing planned for this evening, but whatever happens, i have no doubt that it will be fairly mundane, and you probably won’t care. if something exciting happens, then i promise i will let you know…otherwise, you can safely assume that i watched TV or a DVD or something.

“chill out, dickwad”
today i trimmed the hedge that lines our driveway. it took a while, but it’s now nice and trimmed and pretty straight, and most of the debris has been cleared away.
spent the afternoon alternating between watching DVDs, being bored and looking at webcomics. watched The Terminator, then was bored, then read a lot more Irregular Webcomic! strips, then was bored. decided to get fish’n'chips for tea, and ate them while watching Terminator 2. some of the quotes from T2 are awesome, and i still crack up in some of the scenes, especially when Arnie learns how to smile. great movies, those Terminator movies. not so fussed about the third one. hopefully the fourth one will be better and redeem the series.

adam’s wordl
http://adamswordl.blogspot.com/
go. read. laugh. comment.
if i get enough interest (which i highly doubt…) i may even write futher level walkthroughs…
good things take time
watched Wrongfully Accused on DVD. it’s great. my parody collection is getting larger…i must have at least 15.
spent the afternoon shopping with Mum. she’s got Ann’s wedding on her mind and is buying things left, right and centre. she discovered the joy of shopping at places like the $2 Shop (and similar) where you can get things that might be useful at a wedding for a cheap price. i hope that when i get married, it’s to a girl with organised parents…
mucked around online for the rest of the day. there’s been no real StarCraft II updates for a while. a few Q&A’s, but no news on Zerg, or a beta date. the units that have been “officially” released are themselves not definite and are constantly subject to change…it’d be nice to have a mid-year beta, and an end of year release…but i dunno if that’ll happen. from memory, it was a couple of years from the announcement of WarCraft III to its release, and Diablo II was pushed back a year or something from its release date.
can’t complain about the games though…great games.
i guess Blizzard games are like Mainland cheese: good things take time

30° = hot to work…
Katie’s brother came in today and looked at our computers and my slipshod networking attempt. after some hassle, i got it working at the start of last year, and Joel came in and switched a few plugs round and now all the computers have internet and the network seems to run faster. yay for people who know their stuff!
i then got to spend the rest of the day updating the other two Team X computers and scan them for viruses…that kinda thing. i only found 18 viruses on the laptop…so that’s good, right?
watched another DVD when i got home - Loaded Weapon 1. it’s pretty funny.

it’s over ONE THOUSAAAAND!!!
let’s celebrate with a YouTube clip about memes!
warning…contains memes and bad languages
you’re watching Spy Hard!
we sorted out more of our office space and moved desks and couches around. the office looks different now, but it’s still got a good feel to it
spent the afternoon making adjustments to the website and trying to get Winamp working on my computer. for some reason, it stopped working in the afternoon. eventually, after deleting some random files on my comp and reinstalling it about ten times, it works again! yay!
came home and spent the evening surfing the net. watched Spy Hard later. it’s great. i can’t believe that Leslie Nielsen was 70 when he made it! he’s doing pretty well for an old guy…

no rest for adam
we had a few discussions about training and the new trainees, and before we knew it, it was 5pm.
i stayed at CFUH and helped film some ads for Children’s Church leader recruitment. it involved me dressing up in a heavy jacket and a German war helmet and speaking in a loud German accent. the coat was hot and i was pretty much learning the script as i went. needless to say, more than one take of each segment had to be taken. that’s the difference between acting and improv…when acting, you have to learn stuff. i like just being able to make stuff up on the spot for improv.
after filming, i went straight into Wgtn to WIT. no rest for me.
it was cool. there were four new people and we did some great scenes. i ended up being in two highly emotionally charged scenes, which isn’t like me, but it was fun
came home and was very tired. so tired that i didn’t even turn on my computer, so this post will magically appear here tomorrow!

being tired isn’t a great way to start work…
went into Wgtn this afternoon and met up with Trudy, who i met at Waihi Beach over New Years. we hung out and ate ice cream and threw a frisbee round, then went for a walk and drank milkshakes. it was cool. it was so hot and humid though…running round after a frisbee didn’t help.
and now i am tired. probably due to the fact that i stayed up ’til 2ish this morning chatting with Jo on MSN. i might go to bed pretty soon.
i start Team X tomorrow. it’ll be nice to have something to do besides doing nothing. and Katie is going to be back at TXHV, which i think is now called TX Wellington. sweetness!
