Syndicate Wars
downloaded an ISO for Syndicate Wars when i got home. old school goodness i’ve been playing it using DOSBox, with the CPU cycle rammed up to full. it’s working pretty good.
i s’pose i should go and pack for camp tomorrow…

went to church this morning. some of the guys from last night made it, and some didn’t. the last of my German videos advertising the Kid’s Camp played this morning. it was cool went out for coffee afterwards with Katie…well, Katie had coffee and i had a hot chocolate.
came home and spent pretty much all afternoon online reading game reviews and surfing Wikipedia. it’s easy to get lost in there…
went out tonight with some of the guys from Church and saw ‘Rambo’. it was cool. very much action and violence and guns orientated…until the end, where the credits roll for five minutes over a shot of Rambo walking down a long long driveway…not very action and violence and guns orientated.
by the time i got home, i was pretty tired. blobbed out in front of the TV and watched it. also read a couple of chapters of Soul Purpose - a book we’re reading at Team X at the mo. it was pretty cool.
it’d be nice to know what my purpose in life was…i guess i’ll find out one day.
meh…
felt a bit better today, but still not fully better. this morning, Team X helped out with weeding a reserve in Ngaio. we pulled out weeds and saved trees for a few hours. it was really cool. unfortunately, the walk to the place where we weeded was down a large hill, so walking from the van and back a couple of times has bunged up my knee…like it did on this gorge walk…now it hurts to walk up and down stairs. gutted.
we spent the afternoon going through programme stuff for the next couple of days when we’re in school. luckily, presenting in school doesn’t require a lot of walking
went over to the Hutt on Saturday and caught up with Barry. then met up with Katie. after lunch and hanging out at her place, we went and played mini golf in Porirua. i bought Shrek The Third on DVD, then we came back to my place and watched DVDs for the rest of the day. it was cool.
went to church on Sunday. didn’t really pay attention to what was being said…it was kinda boring. bad attitude to have towards church, i know…came home and mucked around on my comp for the rest of the day.
today, Jo came over and we caught up. went out for lunch and i bought Pathfinder on DVD. we watched it. it’s kinda like 10,000 B.C. but with Vikings.
it’ll be weird going back to work tomorrow. this four-day weekend has been great
first off, my sister got married!

Ann and Dan!

this week, i’ve been at Team X, training trainees and managing programmes. it’s been fun.
and now it’s Easter. i get the feeling that i am going to relax and not do anything this weekend, which may well include me continuing to not update my blog. maybe i’ll get back into it…who knows. i’ve stopped diary writing as well…just lazy i guess.
meh…
i’m about to head up to Castle Point, where the weekend celebrations are going to kick off. i have no doubt that people will be surfing today, there’s a BBQ tonight, and then the wedding is tomorrow. it’ll be a great chance to catch up with all my cousins again…some of whom i haven’t seen in ages
i’ll try and remember to take some pics and post them here when i get back…then, hopefully, i’ll be not busy for two weeks!
i’m hungry.
meh…
on Thursday and Friday, Team X ran programmes at Mirimar South School with two classes. it was awesome! we ran our G2KTX programme on Thursday with both classes combined, then on Friday, we ran seperate Uniqueness programmes. it was cool seeing my brand new Uniqueness programme being delivered and being well received the trainees had a blast too.
today i spent the day at home watching special features from various DVDs and catching up on the new screenshots from StarCraft II. hopefully by the time i get home from camp next week, there will be more new info!
tonight i ran some games for Frequency. they went pretty well. i think that tomorrow at church another one of my German Sunday School videos is going to be shown. this time they’re promoting the kid’s camp…should be a laugh
