The Programme Manager’s New Clothes

Team X started up again today. yay! it was great to hang out with everyone again. plus…we got our new uniforms! for once i won’t have to wear an old hand-me-down t-shirt! we’ve got nice new aqua t-shirts and green t-shirts and black hoodies (which i may actually wear…shock, horror!) i tried it on today and shocked the rest of the team.

usually i don’t wear hoodies, or anything with sleeves for that matter…but it is quite nice and warm, and considering i don’t actually have any really warm clothes, it might be nice with the colder weather we’re getting now…

i’ll post photos when we get some taken.

over the next couple of weeks, i’m only going to be at Team X for two days…crazy! i miss out on two days of teaching in class, but things should settle down after that. i’m going down to Christchurch on Wednesday for Praxis. my studying for this year begins! and next week, i’m going to the Aspiring Leader’s Forum in Wgtn which will be fun.

old school new cool

went to church this morning. haven’t been in a while. it was cool.

came home and mucked around on my computer all afternoon. installed and played some older games like The Neverhood and Black & White. clocked The Neverhood and was doing okay in Black & White, but then i watched TV instead.

CSI is just too cool.

Iron Man

played WoW pretty much all day. i’m sure there was other stuff i was going to do…like eat lunch…but i just forgot.

went into Wgtn with Si and his brother, Jon and Carl and we saw ‘Iron Man’. it was awesome. one of the coolest movies that i’ve seen in a while. can’t wait for the sequels (of which there will be two). that’s how all good movies work these days. movie does great -> why make one sequel when you can make two?

quality screentime

yesterday i watched RoboCop 2 & 3. it’s funny how sometimes as movies progress through a series, they become less and less of what the original was. RoboCop was violent and sweary. RoboCop 3 had hardly as much of either.

spent the rest of the day playing old school computer games like Monkey Island 2.

today i discovered that the WoW server i played on that had been shut down was no longer shut down, so i played WoW for ages.

watched TV this afternoon, which is something that i haven’t done for ages…
