looking forward to my week off...
well, the camp at El Rancho was awesome. i got to catch up with my El Rancho mates again, and got to meet some new leaders who were cool. i had a cabin to myself again this camp :) it was great. i was somewhere in between being a leader and being camp staff... i helped out with the flying fox and went kayaking and had a lot of fun.
and then i got sick. don't know what hit me, but it was something like a 24hr flu bug. felt sick and had no energy. went to bed and stayed there for about 18hrs. i missed the last nigh of camp, but that's okay. i heard a lot of it from my bed from which i could not move.
felt better on Saturday morning. better...not best. packed up and after the kids had gone, the leaders said their goodbyes and i cruised home. spent the next couple of days recovering to full strength. what that basically means is that i sat at home watching DVDs and playing computer games.
now that i am fully recovered, i intend to make the most of my week off! what that basically means is that i will sit at home watching DVDs and playing computer games.
which isn't all i'll be doing. today i've already organised four times for me to leave the house, and i have had and still have to make some very important phone calls. even on my week off i have to do stuff! maybe i'll go and see some movies. Iron Man comes out this week! it looks awesome!
