[beep]

i'm in a mood of not blogging. this week is busy and i can't be bothered tight now. when my life is back on track and i'm less having these things that are called emotions, i shall try and resume normality.

whatever that looks like.

please leave a message after the beep and i'll get back to you.

i have now finished question two of my Praxis assignment. it's a slow process, but i'm getting there. i think i need to really just sit down and write a lot tomorrow. i'll try and finish at least one whole assignment, if not two. i don't know how well i'll do...

i should stop playing Deus Ex.

You Don't Mess With The Zohan

went to Adventure School and ran our Peer Pressure programme today. it was cool. hopefully, the kids who needed to hear about it got something out of it. after the programme, we went to their fundraiser. the classes we teach are raising money to go on a school trip, so they had a bunch of stalls set up in the hall, and all the other classes got to come and spend money. there was baking, lollies, crafts, pre-loved toys and books, face painting, nail painting and a couple of others. i ended up helping at the 'pay 20c and guess the number of jellybeans in the jar and win them all if you guess right' table.

it was really fun. and i nearly won the jellybeans! i was only 17 off with one of my guesses!

went out and saw 'You Don't Mess With The Zohan' tonight. it was pretty funny. if you like Adam Sandler movies, then you'll like this one.

finally started!

had my Praxis cluster groups in Wgtn this morning. they went alright. came home and watched Terminator 3 on DVD. then, i finally got around to starting one of my assignments! after about 2hrs, i had written 600 words or so. and that's just for the first question! three questions to go for this assignment.

the other assignments should be easy enough to write up. they'll take time while i compile my notes and thoughts, but the questions are pretty straightforward.

played Deus Ex all night.

a whole lot more i should be doing

went to church this morning. it was a baptism service. Katie and Troy from Team X, were amongst those who were baptised. it was cool. the Palmy team came down for it and there was a big shared lunch afterwards where i got to hang out and chat with a bunch of people :)

came home and spent all afternoon mucking round on my computer. started to clean my room, but stopped after picking up about two things off my floor. i'll get there eventually...

watchd TV al night. NCIS is back on :) yay! i'm glad it's on a night that i can be home and watch it.

it's incredible!

had a cruisy day at home today. played Deus Ex and ate chocolate for most of it. any plans that i had to clean my room went out the window.

me and Si went and saw 'The Incredible Hulk' tonight. it was cool. better than the first Hulk movie. even though this one plays as a sequel, it has a whole new cast and a whole new direction. i think the only recurring character was a cameo by the guy who played the Hulk in the TV series. he was in both movies. and Tony Stark from Iron Man appears, as does the mention of Nick Fury and SHIELD. it's all coming together. it's all part of the plan! eventually they'll have an Avengers movie.

came home and played old school mulitplayer games for a while. there's nothing quite like cheating and having fun while running around and blowing stuff up :)

One Eighty

ran our Choices programme at Adventure today. it was cool. i have finally finished performing the WWHR drama and now i can rest. next week is Peer Pressure, which is more emotionally draining than physically, so i will be tired again!

had a meeting with Bruce Billington when i got back to the office. talked to him and got some info for one of my Praxis assignments. sweet deal. now all i have to do is assess Team X as a faith community, define some words and then compare Team X, CFUH and El Rancho and i will have finished an assignment! it seems like a lot of work, so i might not do it this weekend.

came home and went to bed. i should get more sleep at night, so that i don't have to sleep in the afternoon. got out of bed to go to One Eighty. it's a youth night that is organised by King's Church where my parents and a lot of Adventure students go, so they were all inviting me today. it was pretty cool. just a lot of running around and playing games. but i got to hang out with a dozen or so Adventure kids, which was fun. it's cool hanging out with the kids we work with outside of the Team X context.

now i will go to bed for real.

photos are up

Team X today was cool. i've now done six of the eight WWHR dramas that i am doing this week. me and Troy did them today. they were fun. we're doing them tomorrow as well. it has been interesting talking about choices to the kids this week, because there's a few choices in my life that i should probably be making, but i'm not. they're all to do with study, flatting and girls. not necessarily in that order. not really in any order. more just in a mess of chaos.

finally got around to putting up our Team X team photos on the website. yay!
