Sister’s bags picked up from Wellington bus station 20 minutes later = 2

Team X today was pretty cool. we tried out our renewed Line of Choice programme, and i think it worked well. me and Tamsen did the What Would’ve Happened Room drama and it was great fun

the thing about doing the WWHR drama in three classes is that it wears me out and i get very tired, so i came home and went to bed.

didn’t go to WIT tonight. i love WIT, but it’s such an effort and i feel like i need to take a break from it. i’ll see what happens.

so because i was tired and went to bed, i didn’t end up checking out any flats. i’ll do it on my own time and let you know after the fact so that there’s no pressure on me hahaha…that sounds really slack and i don’t care!

caught up with Carl today. took pizza round to his place and we played PlayStation all afternoon. played PlayStation…there’s a sentence fragment that shouldn’t logically make sense, but does.

we played Buzz (which Carl won) and Tekken 5 (which i won). based on previous PlayStation experiences, those should have been the other way around. Carl is the first person who has consecutively beat me at Buzz, and indeed one of the few who has beaten me in the first place…made easier i s’pose by only playing with two players…

…and i won Tekken…i guess i’m a better button masher (another weird word combo). i actually started pulling off legitimate moves that i meant to do.

came home and Facebooked. that’s another neologism that has recently appeared. i’m not quite sure what kind of work ‘Facebook’ is…noun, verb, adjective, etc…but it leads to bad English regardless. for example: “do you have Facebook?” is equivalent to saying something like “do you have computer?” i have a Facebook account, as i would have a computer, but no one cares about that. soon we’ll be able to play PlayStation on our Facebooks and Google Maps our competitors’ locations.

i’ve been lazy this week…but hopefully i’ll be back into blogging mode next week.

went to church this morning. haven’t been in a while. it was cool.

came home and mucked around on my computer all afternoon. installed and played some older games like The Neverhood and Black & White. clocked The Neverhood and was doing okay in Black & White, but then i watched TV instead.

CSI is just too cool.

worked on the Team X newsletter for most of the day today. finished it. it looks good. it’s not online yet…and probably won’t be for a couple of weeks…but you don’t really care do you…?

had a meeting with some of the Maidstone teachers this afternoon. went through what we’re going to be doing next term. it should be fun

watched Rambo: First Blood when i got home. that movie is are as old as me…hahaha. old school movies are a laugh. i wonder what movies made today will look like in 20 years…i guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

i’m off to Auckland for the first week of Team X training 2oo8. should be fun! i’ll be back on Fri night…

watched Crank on DVD today. then played computer games for the rest of the day. played SimCity 4, then WarCraft III.

also played a few games of Catan with Mum and Dad.
