w00t! Diablo III has been announced. it’s far too late for me to stay up and download the trailers, so i’ll have to do all that tomorrow…won’t make studying any easier…

went to Adventure School and ran our Peer Pressure programme today. it was cool. hopefully, the kids who needed to hear about it got something out of it. after the programme, we went to their fundraiser. the classes we teach are raising money to go on a school trip, so they had a bunch of stalls set up in the hall, and all the other classes got to come and spend money. there was baking, lollies, crafts, pre-loved toys and books, face painting, nail painting and a couple of others. i ended up helping at the ‘pay 20c and guess the number of jellybeans in the jar and win them all if you guess right’ table.

it was really fun. and i nearly won the jellybeans! i was only 17 off with one of my guesses!

went out and saw ‘You Don’t Mess With The Zohan’ tonight. it was pretty funny. if you like Adam Sandler movies, then you’ll like this one.

had a cruisy day at home today. played Deus Ex and ate chocolate for most of it. any plans that i had to clean my room went out the window.

me and Si went and saw ‘The Incredible Hulk’ tonight. it was cool. better than the first Hulk movie. even though this one plays as a sequel, it has a whole new cast and a whole new direction. i think the only recurring character was a cameo by the guy who played the Hulk in the TV series. he was in both movies. and Tony Stark from Iron Man appears, as does the mention of Nick Fury and SHIELD. it’s all coming together. it’s all part of the plan! eventually they’ll have an Avengers movie.

came home and played old school mulitplayer games for a while. there’s nothing quite like cheating and having fun while running around and blowing stuff up

went into Praxis this morning. it was alright. one of our group discussions was assessed, and we all passed, so i’ve only got four assessments to go now. bonus

met up with Barry for lunch afterwards and we chatted for an hour or so. it was cool.

met up with Jo after that and we hung out and caught up for a couple of hours. hot chocolates from Scopa taste like warm liquid chocolate pudding. mmm…

came home and was tired. played Deus Ex for a while. i really like that game. even though i’ve played it so many times and know exactly how i’m going to play it, it’s still fun.

my paretns’ home group was at our house tonight, so i sat in on that for a while and had a great time. the other people who came along were pretty cool, including a Dutch couple who are fantastically hilarious

Team X today was really cool. went to Maidstone and ran our Self Worth Programme. three classes full of awesome kids hung out back at the office for a while afterwards, then came home.

went to WIT tonight for the first time in a few weeks. it was pretty cool. Team Xtreme Lightening is playing on Saturday night. hooray! i get to play again. now i just need to e-mail everyone to tell them all to come.

today was a day that i spent mostly at home. watched Charlie’s Angels and Full Throttle on DVD. went out and had a massage later. it was awesome. it’s a late birthday present…i think i’m still owed birthday presents by both of my sisters! it’s all good.

went to WIT tonight. it was cool. went out afterwards for coffee and milkshakes. spent a couple of hours hanging out and chatting with WITsters. it’s nice being able to just stay out and not have to worry about getting up early tomorrow. i shall cherish it while it lasts…

it was our last session with Mirimar South today. a lot of kids cried. it was a great day though. got some awesome feedback from the kids and teachers

we all hung out at Whetu’s place afterwards and played games and chatted. had a BBQ, then wrapped up the Wellington part of the trainees’ training. it’ll be sad to see Michelle, Dan and Michal leave…but they’re still part of the national Team X whanau

overall, it was an awesome day

today was a holiday. Wellington Anniversary Day. all the other days up ’til now haven’t technically been holidays, they’ve just been me not working. so it seems kinda ironic that of all the days i could’ve done work, i worked today. on a holiday. i did some more work on the YDTW website. added content. now it has content on most of the pages, and not just “content will go here” fillers. believe me when i say that this webiste is a serious step up from the previous one, which had a hit counter, some images and some broken links.

went into Wgtn this afternoon and met up with Trudy, who i met at Waihi Beach over New Years. we hung out and ate ice cream and threw a frisbee round, then went for a walk and drank milkshakes. it was cool. it was so hot and humid though…running round after a frisbee didn’t help.

and now i am tired. probably due to the fact that i stayed up ’til 2ish this morning chatting with Jo on MSN. i might go to bed pretty soon.

i start Team X tomorrow. it’ll be nice to have something to do besides doing nothing. and Katie is going to be back at TXHV, which i think is now called TX Wellington. sweetness!

took Grandma to see ‘Bee Movie’ this morning. it was pretty cool. we saw it at the Lighthouse Cinema in Pauatahanui. nice couches. great for seeing movies with a girlfriend…i guess. wouldn’t know :oP

went into Wgtn and picked Mum up, then dropped them off and stayed in Wgtn to meet up with Kate. we hung out at a café for an hour or so. it was fun. i’m wondering if i should go up to Waihi for New Year’s…maybe i will.

Carl, Jon and Si came round tonight. we hung out and chatted and ate too many chocolates. went up round Woodman Drive and checked out the Christmas lights. they were the same as last year pretty much. watched TV when we got back home. they all left and i mucked around online. i may have found a site that can sell me the Gold Edition of Spaceballs on DVD. it’s not available in NZ anymore :o(

also, if you know of anyone or anywhere that’s selling the 2-Disc edition of Snatch on DVD, let me know…i want it.

this is why i buy DVDs when they’re released, unless i know a special edition is coming. they go out of production!

went to EMC today. spent the day making my hands smell like solder. i’m going to work there for a couple of days a week ’til Christmas…just a little bit more cash. it’d be even more if i didn’t have to pay secondary tax.

stupid tax.

went out with Mum and Dad tonight to see a pantomime. we saw Jack and The Beanstalk. it was great fun :o)
